2. Floyd Mayweather's return to boxing and made a bold statement that he is stil No. 1
3. Oscar Dela Hoya retires after a brutal beating in the Dec 8, 2008 fight against MP.
4. Death of known boxers (Arguello, Gatti, Jockgym, Forrest, etc. RIP)
5. Margarito Probe and suspension of 1 year fighting.
6. Welterweight Division becomes the most watched division of 2009.
7. The Super Six Tourney, a first of it's kind in Pro Boxing.
8. PPV sales thriving despite recession.
9. Marquez's training and urine regimen. the most talked about regimen of the year.
