Already? This soon, before the new episodes of the series have even been given a street date? I guess they really do have confidence in the property. This movie was in Japanese theaters two months ago.
Most of what I've read about the movie suggests that for the two and a half hours that it lasts (!), it recaptures the general quality that made the original 13 episodes so well-liked by a lot of fans. I'm lukewarm about season two because of the oft-maligned filler, but this is something to really look forward to. It's a potentially good story and it's got solid design and animation that makes sure it looks like season one without even a trace of the K-On!-esque character designs that allegedly exist in much of the second season.
