Yeah, it would be a good idea to watch the first two seasons before watching these because then at least you're used to the mediocrity and this stuff makes a lot more sense.
This isn't really a bad show it's just really mediocre. The kind of thing that you say "Hey, I've some anime that I should be watching right now but I don't feel like it so I'm gonna watch this. Blonde aliens and fanservice? Count me in!"
Trust me, this show is so screwed up, the moment you put in disc 1 without having seen the other seasons, you were already screwed in terms of plot.

Gah. I was convinced to run away by the end of paragraph three. SounRAB dreadful. I don't envy the time Chad had to spend on this one.
So I guess I'll have to defend this show. I hate it when it's just me.
The season never really got me much (except with that one episode that featured Raine, which is sweet), and this season never really focused on character development, which was something the first 2 seasons did, but I can understand if you didn't see the first 2 seasons, but in a way, it's also sorta your fault. This show is also overshadowed by the fanservice, because it has good characters and plot, but again, overshadowed by fan service.
The season's short anyways, so yet another good point.

Hey! I just said that it was just okay....
(I liked Season 2 a hell of a lot better than the rest of the series though)
