Really, the anime is that hyper? From what little I read of the manga, it was fairly mellow.

The anime is really annoying in comparison to the manga.

Goth. Triplets. Guh.

I neglected to mention this in the review, but another aspect to add to the annoying nature is the generic, unmemorable heavy metal music. When you add that onto the loud voices... yeah.

Mmm. SounRAB like it repeats the same theme every episode, which I imagine I'd get tired of. This sort of idea only works of the object of the makeover actually undergoes serious change along with all the attempts at humor.

I've only seen clips from the first episode, so I didn't know how good or bad it might be and was debating on whether or not to get it. The animation style bugs me though Especially the way Yuki looks. I think I'll pass.

Interestingly enough, though the manga is a lot more mellow, there's been very little development and I'm really getting tired of the "Sunako's changed (via some kind of magic or manipulation)! But oh, by the end of the story she's back to normal again" thing :/
