...Another?

They are. It was confirmed no more after the 13th movie (which is this). It figures The Land Before Time would go out in a whimper.

Sad, because I recently rewatched the original and it is so ironic how lightyears ahead in quality it is from drek like this.

I like seeing The Land Before Time DTVs. It's fun talking about how many they have and various other jokes. They also prove that some things were better in the 90s! :)

Ugh! Not another one! The series has been dragged out to death and beyond! As much as I loved the original movie, each sequel gets worse and worse.

Where was it confirmed that this will be the last one? I've been hearing rumors of a 14th movie (which I'm praying is not true).

It's been a while since i heard the news of TLBT ending production and started a thread about that, but I think I said it then that this is the last one.

That's good to know. I've been wondering lately what he's said, if anything, of these abominations. Knowing the way he works, I imagine he must be incredably livid over them.

BAH HA HA. I never liked him at all. I thought he was just annoying and bouncy, and I saw Jerry macGuire and said... He got an Oscar for this?

I don't understand why these fans wouldn't have rather seen a cartoon series in liu of these cheapqauls. Even Disney isn't that bad. they usually give their movies a rest after 3. Lilo and Stitch being the only one that got 4. (mainly because 2 of the films were based on the cartoon series, and only one of them was a true sequal to the movie).

I always hated seeing these. It prevented me from ever seeing the original film, which has to be leaps and bounds better than this trash. I did see the real film so long ago, I can't even remember it. But that was about it. hey. Is the original one even available anymore?

If anyone has anything he's said about these, please post them.

I did like some of the early sequals, but I pretty much stopped caring after the sixth or seventh movie. While I saw them as basically watchable, the original Land Before Time is worlds better than any of these sequals. I remember seeing a special fifteenth anniversary edition of the first movie a few years ago. The movie first came out in 1988 and so that special edition came out around 2003. I'm sure that it will be easy to find.

I second this. It would be interesting, to say the least, to see what Don Bluth thinks about these unnecessiary sequals to his original movie.
