This is the talkback thread for NYT Looks at the Future of DreamWorks.
DreamWorks Animation is in a rare place where its an independent company that is very profitable. However, like the article notes, its vulnerable if one of their movies doesn't do well as expected and might need a bigger company to help it out. It would interesting if NBC Universal got it, since it would fall under Comcast now. I also didn't realize Warner Bros. rejected a bid for the company.
