This is the talkback thread for Imagi Animation Studios Lays Off 100 Employees.
I'm sorry to hear about the layoRAB. While Astro Boy had it's faults, it still was a good movie and tried to capture the spirit of the orginial for a modern audience.
I'm sure fans of the classic series can point out this and that where the movie flubbed as well as casual viewers of anime/animation who saw plot holes you could fly the Yamato through, but overall it was a good attempt and I hope for the best for the studio, the employees and their future projects.
Besides, 'I have guns....in my butt??' just makes me laugh, esp when you see the look on Astro's face.
