Quite a devastating and concise final paragraph. The review at large confirms my worst concerns about the show, namely that it fails to really make an impact in spite of its attempts to be flashy. SounRAB like it wasted a lot of time in the first half with characterization that never actually went deep anyway, which is what really does it in to my mind. Even the cliches would have been acceptable if the viewer had just been given a reason to care, but no.
Too bad for Gonzo. In fairness, I'll note that 2007 at least brought along Kaze No Stigma and the crown jewel that is Romeo X Juliet.
