Toon Zone Talkback - Comedy Central Announces Return of "South Park," "Lil' Bush," & Futurama DTV Premiere

Hooray for more South Park! :D Lil' Bush is complete trash. I'm not sticking up for Bush, but that crap was old before it even started. I've only seen 2-3 episodes of it, but I swear the blank look on my face didn't change once during the entire duration.

I find it more screwed up that Drawn Together gets more ratings than Lil Bush, and is the number one highest rated show on college campuses yet Lil Bush gets to stay..

I one time worked with someone who thought Lil' Bush was hilarious so apperently, yes. Honestly though, I have a hard time believing that they're renewing it now, though. As if the series wasn't outdated enough when it started, Bush doesn't get nearly as much press coverage now as he used to. All the news outlets are focusing on the upcoming election. What is the show going to do when a new president is elected? Change the name of the show to Lil' Obama or Lil' McCain or something? Or are they going to still focus on Bush even after he's out of office?

I wonder if they'll air Bender's Big Score as four seperate parts in another time slot, or if they'll just add onto the regular Futurama schedule.

While I never saw that Bush cartoon before, all I can say is I cannot wait for the next president to be elected so we can FINALLY have a new set of jokes. Yeah, you can point out how corrupt and stupid he is, but it's not going to get Congress to impeach him. Just live with the disappointment like the rest of us did.

Edit:

Do you think the fact they're showing Futurama as a telefilm, rather than cutting it into pieces like they originally intended is because of the strike holding up production of the next films?

1. DT's production has been shut down for some time now, the newest eps were holdovers,

2.) College campuses aren't exactly a hot demo, students don't typically have a ton of disposable income.

Perhaps he hasn't been impeached because he isn't as corrupt and stupid as he's made out to be? I'm sorry, but the fact is that I respect and pity Bush simply because he is president, and being president is Hell on earth. You have all sorts of crap to deal with, and at the end of the day, you'll be trashed no matter what you do. You go to war? CRITICIZED! You don't go to war? CRITICIZED! You raise taxes? CRITICIZED! You lower taxes? CRITICIZED! ...See what I'm getting at? You can't freaking win, especially when the media comes into play.

Obama, McCain...whoever's the next president, I give them my pity.

Um... no. You've got to ignore an overwhelming amount of stuff to blame media bias for Bush's portrayal.

But really, this will go nowhere. It's generally best to avoid making political posts on rabroad.

personally, i don't find Drawn Together or Lil' Bush very funny at all, but i'l lwatch em if nothign good is on

I'm suprised Bender's Big Score wasn't split up, made a lotof sense ratings wise to do it (and you can notice when they would've made the cuts)

At least if they air it as a whole, the movie should remain uncut and (hopefully) uncensored. It's when they air it as four parts seperately when they're going to have to trim things off to make room for the opening credits/recaps.
