It seems now the real story comes out, and the humor in this is that it's all a clerical error.
According to the story, Some guy from China decided to counterfeit items that would ususally be sold by the parent companies of said characters (in this case, The Walt Disney Company, and Warner Bros.
But thanks to those loveable bumbling clerks in the Italian court system, the decided not to call in the legal attorneys for these companies, but rather put the names of the characters onto the papers..
After all I can see some hilarious dialog coming from our fellow TZ folk dealing with this trial..
I mean wouldn't it be funny if we did a threaded skit of this trial?
Bailiff: All arise, Court is now in session.. The Honorable Judge Tucsoncoyote is now in Session. Today's Case: is (Whoever the counterfeiter is), vs. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Tweety Bird.
Tucsoncoyote (Raps Gavel): Alright let's begin.. Are the prosecution, and the defense Ready?
Prosecutor Homer Simpson: Ready your honor. MMM Donuts....
Defense Lawyer Peter Griffin: I'm ready your honor, and if I may so intereject your honor, it is my duty to state that my client is innocent. (Laughs).. Heh, I said Doody....
But wouldn't this be fun if we could do a Fun and Games on this one?
You know what? Nah, it's not worth it.. ah well...
