He was having night time anxiety attacks which were causing insomnia so his pedi referred us out to a psych. After doing all the bloodwork and an extensive family history, exam and talking to my son and I he diagnosed him with depression and anxiety. He put him on lexapro, topamax and trazadone (for sleep). This seems a little scary to me. I've been on AD's and I know the side effects can be bad.. not sure about the other 2 meRAB, I'm going to research them. Does it seem odd they'd put an 11 yo on these meRAB? Should I get a 2nd opinion? I'm freaking out.... sorry
