I'm 20. I was on medicaid up until 19. I'm now on a family planning type medicaid, but that only pays for gyn/obgyn visits and birth control pills. I can not afford health insurance. My parents don't have health insurance either so it's not like I can get on their plan. I didn't worry too much about it until my sister had gotten strep throat (she's still on medicaid). But now I don't know what to do if I get really sick.
