too much swimming, am i eating enough?

i'm on a swim team and currently our workouts aren't too intense (1.5 hours, ~4500 yards). however, in two weeks the season really starts, and i will be exercising 20 hours a week (3 hours of running and strength work, 17 hours of swimming). A normal day will involve up to 8,000 to 12,000 yards of swimming (that's 5-8 miles)

my problem is that when i work out this hard, i feel too sick afterwards to eat, and i usually can only get in 2000 calories a day without stuffing my face and feeling like i'm going to barf. i'm also vegetarian and i don't get enough protein as it is.

is 2000 calories going to be enough for my body to function correctly? how can i bring myself to eat more?

i'm 5'8", 133 lbs, 18 years old
