I'm in grade 11, I live in a small town so there is no cheer teams for about 2 hours away.
Next year I will be moving to a town with a city cheer team, and high school cheer teams.
the high school teams aren't competitive, more of a dance pom squad.
I have been dancing for two years (modern, lyrical, technique, and hip hop) and I would love to perform more than just at competitions, I would love to be on a dance pom squad.
Would I not be able to make it into the team at the highschool next year because it would be my first year being grade 12?
Is there summer camps for dance/pom squad beginner cheerleaders in Alberta that I could attend?
I just really want to start, my dream in dance is to be on an university dance team.
