Hello,
I am new to this forum, new to any forum at that. I am 26 yrs old and had a tonsilectomy almost two weeks ago. From what i've read from other posts, I should be on the downslope by now. From what I can tell, my scabs have fallen off. The only problem I have is that I can't eat anything still. Everytime I swallow, it seems like there is a pocket on the backside of my tongue that the food gets stuck in. Then I have to force it back up and try to swallow again. This repeats over and over, is EXTREMELY painful and still may not go down after several swallows. I can't even eat soupy oatmeal. Has ANYONE else had this problem. I haven't eaten anything since the fourth day of recovery. I am very weak and am DYING to get to feeling better. Please help!!
