Tones & Nokia 6265i

New here! Please excuse me if I don't catch on too fast....

when I go to download songs thru my nokia 6265i i can't preview the song before purchasing! am I completely retarded or is that just how it is?? I've looked and tried to find an option to let me do so, but I can't seem to find anything! Anyone have any advice? (and, no, getting a new phone isn't an option )

Are you trying to get them from cricKet's WAP? I don't think you can preview the tone on there, which kind of sucks.

yeah..thru cricket's WAP. Is there a place to go so ya can preview 'em? That seems like a really crappy thing to overlook on Cricket's part.

the 6265i is perfectly capable of playing any mp3 file you provide it... so you can pretty easily use audacity to cut up your own mp3 files and transfer them to the phone and assign as a ring tone. this is what many of us do, it allows you to have a custom ringer with the exact portion of any song that you want, all without paying the high prices associated with master tone downloaRAB.
