ton MCL? what exercises will make it worse?

On feb 27th i had a track meet and i stretched really really good before i ran. After i ran my knee kinda throbbed for a while. When i got to my house i did a few more stretches and bent my leg a few ways to loosen it up. The nest day when i would turn corners the inside of my knee more towards the bottem would have a sharp pain or if i stretched with one leg bent back and my upper body leane4d forward i would get the pain again. Also when i flex the back of my knee towards the right a bit hurts pretty bad. I never heard a pop and i dont have that much unstabillity but it hurts really bad when i do those thinngs. I walk normal though. I went to my sports physician and he did a few pulls on my leg and said he suspects that my MCL is partially torn, but we didnt do an MRI. I wore a brace for 6 weeks but went back cause i still had pain. He was baffled and told me to wear the brace for 2 more weeks then have an MRI. idk what to do cause it hurts and its not getting any better. HELP!!!?

Also are there any tips for what i should not do while exercise ??
