TomTom 6 & E61 "J" help

Every character is recognized except for J! I can only input a # when I press the J key for example. Pressing i or k only displays those listings. Cut and pasting a J wont work either. Any solutions?
 
lol yeah....I got around it by making a dummy contact in my phonebook who lives on "J" street. If I ever want to find a street starting with a J I have to search by contact and pick this one...then it asks for the city and displays all the j streets.....sucks but it works. I dont seem to use many j streets anyhow as I just came across it today and have had the sw for awhile.

Anyone have a better way?
 
I can input all numbers by pressing the blue arrow key. It is just whatever starts with J is the problem. My address book work around works great though. "La Jola" would work fine if it was in my map cause I could just type "la" then hit space. What version do you have? I am using tomtom6 v6.010
 
That's really weird... Which key config of the E61 are you using?

I'm using the one with the spanish symbols and a regular QWERTY layout RM-89 3.0633.09.04 Firmware, and Tom Tom version 6.010 (7640)

I can enter "J"s no problem.
 
I have the latest firmware but I have the asian keyboard. That must be it, the J issues can't be that common because I can't find much info on it (google).
