Tom Selleck want to reprise Magnum role...

I know this is a fairly old article, but this is the first I've read about it. Tom Selleck has expressed his interest in playing Thomas Magnum again in the forthcoming Magnum film which is currently in the works.

I would love to see Tom Selleck return to this role. He may be 64 years old, but I would have thought casting Selleck would be the ideal choice to keep in line with the original series and for continuity purposes. If they drafted in some young actor to play Magnum instead, I just can't see that working myself.
