Man, I gotta wonder what the point of Tom & Jerry Kids was. The formula was the same and Tom and Jerry were the only characters who were wonder (Spike and his song stayed the same.)

Tone down the violence maybe, but it seems like they could have accomplished that without kidifying them.

And no, themes don't sound similar to me.
