Today I stabbed my toe on the end of metal rod, about 4 millimeters in diameter. I punctured my skin about 3-5 millimeters, and its right where the toe meets the main part of the foot. At the time of the incident it bled a lot, I was holding my hand under it and little pool of blood gather quickly before I started putting pressure on it with a paper towel. Now about 6 1/2 hours later its really painful when resting and I can't put pressure on the left half of my left foot. The toe (its the farthest left aka little toe) has swollen slightly. Personally I think the pain has stayed about the same level- maybe increased a little. I was thinking that the metal rod may have hit a bone when it punctured my skin therefore causing a lot of the pain. I am most likely going to get it checked out tomorrow.
