My 14 month old son is learning to put his things back after he's played with them. While he listens to his nanny, he will cry in protest and will refuse to put his things back when I ask him to do it. Has anyone else experienced this and what can I do about it?

Aha its called the terrible two's. Children always play up for thier parents more so then strangers as they are pushing the boundries with us. Even at that age!!
It will get worse lol
He is only little though so dont be too harsh on him.

Hes testing you, stick to your guns and show him who the boss is. I'm betting he didnt listen the very first time his nanny asked him to and she probably let him know who was in charge. Or another way is to make a game of it for him.

I think it's because he doesn't know what to expect from the Nanny so he does what he's told....my daughter is like that with her grandparents. She'll pick up after herself (she's 4) at their house, but here I have to ask her repeatedly to do it. He knows he can get away with it with you.
