Today's movies? Is CGI more important than GOOD quality acting? :I?

Lately it's all about 3-D effects and how good the CGI is .. why doesn't anyone appreciate good acting anymore? Like about 20-30 years ago, acting is what made a good movie now it all depends on 3-D.

I am kinda sick of 3-D to be honest.
I'd rather watch a "talkie" movie than seeing pointless CGI.
