So my trial horse arrived today!
I let him chill outside for about 4 hours, I then walked him around and groomed him all up and down
My dad brought like 10 pounds of carrots to feed him and everybody else, he's going to make him sick one day I swear! He already loves him...
He was pretty chill about the whole change. He has a new girlfriend and he is officially more dominant over the little pony out with him. Since he is used to 24/7 turnout, he will be turned out all night every night and in during the day when I am at school. We will just work for about 30 minutes under-saddle 5 days a week considering he has no muscle, his neck is sooo thin
I am going to bring whatever I need tomorrow.
I am slowly picking out his new stall and replacing all the sand. If we keep him he is getting mats and shavings. I am going to spray the entire thing with very diluted bleach to get ride of all the creepy crawly bugs. and then lay nice new soft sand over it all. I also am going to mix some water and vinegar for fly spray
He will smell like salad now, ahaha
And finally, I got some Listerine to get rid of his mud fever and rain rot.....
Oh and I will be buying some Morton salt and Safflower oil tomorrow morning for his feed.
All in all a great day

For the vinegar-water fly spray: How many parts water to how many parts vinegar?

If you read the question thoroughly you would see that if I buy him, I am buying rubber mats and SHAVINGS. I don't like sand anymore that you buy I refuse to put shavings on plain sand, ewww.
