 Sometimes accents can go badly wrong when someone moves to a part of Britain where they speak with a strong accent.....The worst I've heard was a danish/mancunian. It was like 2 tunes being mixed together badly....
After 4 years of complete immersion in Glaswegian culture?
What do you think?
Most people think I'm Irish these days![]()
I still don't understand why you think I used to live in Govan...
I lived in Glasgow for a couple of months only and that was in Duke Street/Parkhead
You know.. when I used to live in Duke Street, I was right accross from the Louden Tavern right.
So this one night I was walking to the shops when this guy outside the Louden invited me in for a drink right.
I didn't want to go at first, but being the alkie I was at the time, the thought of free whisky was too tempting right.
So I went inside the Louden
And then I got really drunk
The last thing I remember is snogging some really dodgy looking guy with a slash accross his cheek.

That's the story I'll be telling my children when they want to start drinking
