To those who have Starcrash on DVD...

What happens in the first 2 minutes? Anything important?

Sorry for the odd question, but the beginning of my Beta tape is mangled and I need to wind on 2 minutes to get past the bad bit.

I think the general consensus is that Starcrash is one long bad bit (ho ho!)

However it has its own fansite:cheap FX bonanza!, and chunks of it are on Youtube.

Thanks for the help - will check out the YouTube footage. Well, I hear it is bad - but the cover looks good - and I will try anything once! I have to spool past the begining as Beta heaRAB are hard to find and I don't want to chip mine. It is ex-rental and someone's dodgy deck in the past has done the biz and mangled it.

It has Caroline Munro in it which is enough of a reason to get it.
It's recently been released on Bluray in the US
