To say global warming is real-do you work for the government or are you just dumb?

Maybe you should read this with an open mind:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/3982101/2008-was-the-year-man-made-global-warming-was-disproved.html

Don't automatically buy into the fear mongering.

the Earth has changes it goes through & will continue to go through
maybe only 1 cycle of human life gets to see some of these changes so it is used as a leverage point to further control the populoation to some degree

there will also be polar shifts (North & South Poles rotating & throwing a lot of the balance off for a while)

planets are in the path of Earth to collide

many things happen but the Earth will remain

I firmly believe in Global Climate Change! It has been happening for many many many years. The Earth's atmosphere has been altered many times by organisms. All of the Oxygen in the air is the result of metabolism from lifeforms. The question at hand today is whether Humankind could be responsible for the fluctuations we are observing today. Although I have little doubt about the possibility of Anthropogenic Global Warming (man made), I cannot under value the observation that Mars' ice caps are also melting without a single combustion engine or person to blame. Now this doesn't throw out the value of conservation as there are many reasons to limit carbon emissions. The biggest reason, I feel, is that the current energy economy is funneling resources from free, liberty loving peoples to dictators, Communists, and Monarchist. Also, decentralized energy production will empower the world's poor, liberating their potential from corporate and bureaucratic manipulation. Free people and free markets have improved energy efficiency and the education provided in free societies has led to lower birthrates. In general, conservation and freedom go hand in hand.
Now back to Global Warming. Let it be academically debated, so long as we maintain that our current understanding is way too limited to begin restricting liberty and freedom in an attempt to change it. The most important thing you can do about Global Climate Change is to maintain an intellectually honest desire to understand it, and alter your own behavior in a way you believe to be helpful. Good Luck!

The average temperature increased by 1 degree F over 120 years, from the late 1800s to 2000. In the last decade the temps have been flat.

It's warmer than it was a century ago.

It's not warmer than it was a millenium ago.

It's only slightly warmer than it was two millenia ago.

It's cooler than it was five millenia ago, six millenia ago, seven millenia ago, etc...

WHat kind of global warming are you talking about? Are you talking about natural global warming that happens every once and a while.

Or are you talking about this AL Gore hoax everyone is being sucker int to?

If you are talking about he AL Gore hoax, then you are the dumb one!
Have a nice life sheep!

Just able to differentiate between solid science and wild speculation.

I really doubt Exxon pays bloggers. The company I work for (besides all the useful things we do) offers consulting services on how to be climate neutral.

There is a large monitor in our foyer that cycles through a presentation on this. For whatever reason, this monitor is left on 24/7.

Did you know that CO2 is an effect of warmer temperatures, not a cause, or are you just dumb?
