hello,
we had an office network set up in which only one computer, mine, was wirelessly connecting to the internet, and the rest were all thru ethernet cables. somehow the setting on the router was lost and we had to reset it. now my wireless is unsecured and anyone can connect to our network. i figured out how to change the default password from "admin" to something more secure. however, i don't know how to make the connection secure (where it shows the padlock and says encrypted). even though our network before would show "security-enabled wireless network," my computer however wouldn't need a pass code to connect to it. it was always connected. now how do i go back to the same setup? is it done from the router or is it accomplished from the control panel--> network connections--> wireless network connection-->properties??

i don't have the router manual nor access to the person who set it up. i want to learn it on my own.

thanks for your input.
