...Churches? (((John))) Any more trite political regurgitations?
They get political leverage, possess an exorbitant social hegemony, and rake in an innumerable amount of dollars, annually. Don't you think it's about time we tax this corporate monster?
(((Who Cares))) What are you talking about? None of what you have said is even remotely academic—I am even tempted to say it was fabricated, especially of my character.
(((Doctor Hook))) What??
(((KS))) Of course I do not, but how does taxing a corporation transgress into anything that have just said.

Yes, I wish for religion to be separated from government, but I am not talking about the separation of religion; again, I am talking about taxing corporations—conspicuous corporations.
(((skid))) It may not even be necessarily about their propensity to intrude in politics. The necessity for taxation may be in response to the overwhelming effect they have on the economy. Keep in mind, this is money they are taking in without producing really any tangible product.
(((Anderiel))) Wouldn't the purpose of taxation be because they are indeed a business. But I do see the point with churches lobbying. However, don't we already have churches lobbying incognito?
I think it should be mentioned that all religion is—and I know people don't like to her this—is another form of politics, the first form of politics.

Religion and politics are inseparable. So this talk about religion intruding on politics just seems odd.

Now my position isn't realy on that conundrum; I am more concerned about the economic repercussions.
