classes is a better fit? Building construction - which teaches you carpentry, electrical, and a few other things, they don't get into great detail with any of them. It's more of a jack off all trades master of none thing.

Carpentry - self explanatory.

Cabinetmaking - can make household objects out of wood, goes into making things out of wood in great detail.

CNC machining - self explanatory.
