"To Kill a Mockingbird" in relation to historical context?

Can anyone give me a passage in the story and comment on its relation to historical context? Don't tell me to to my work and read the story because I really did try to look for more. So far I already used the Great Depression and the quote where it says that "Maycomb county had been told it had nothing to fear but fear itself. Any more?
