Hi Emily and I really do appreciate the prayers and I want you to know that prayers are coming your way also. Please tell you son THANK YOU for his service to our country. We are very lucky to have our men & women in uniforms watching over us and dedicating themselves to protect us. My husband was in the Vietnam war and they were not treated very well when they returned but I was and am very proud of him.

I have my granRABon help some with the yard but we live on a hill so I worry about him on the riding lawnmower. We have 3 acres to take care of and I wish every day now that we had bought something smaller. We have an above ground pool also and my husband has not helped at all this year with it either but he is so tired when he gets home from work. I try to watch what I am doing but it is so hard because there is so much to do. Thanks again for the prayers.

Love You,too!
Linda

Hey devi hope the SCS does wonders and praying for no more fusions!
I know i never want any more.

Good luck!

Was wonderng how everyone was doing havent seen you in a while Linda how are you and Emily?

Hey Billy!
I've been wondering what route you and your new doctor had finally decided on. I hope the SCS will do it for you. Wouldn't that be great?

I'm doing pretty well. I'm keeping busy writing to my youngest, who is at Marine boot camp. He asked me to write everyday! I was anyway, but I really thought he didn't care. Marine boot camp is the longest and toughest of all the armed forces. They live for mail call! I guess my little boy realized that mom is good for something after all! :)

Other than that, just trying to keep my garden alive and my house somewhat clean and taking care of my MIL, who has stage 6 Alzheimer's. I pace myself pretty carefully. Take my meRAB, stay balanced between rest and activity, and I do okay. God is good!

Let us know how it goes. Good to hear from you!

Emily

Hi "tmv" I am going to start another thread so I don't "hijack" Billy's.

Linda:angel:

Thank you, Linda, and please tell your husband I'm sorry for how he was treated when he returned from serving our great country! I'm so thankful for men like him!

I'll look for the other thread.

Blessings,
Emily

Billy,

Best wishes as you try to reduce your pain through the SCS. After having several surgeries myself and still being in great pain, I know the anticipation before trying yet another invasive procedure to improve your quality of life. Keep your chin up and I really hope this provides some much needed pain relief for you.

Hi:wave: Billy Boy so glad to hear from you was wondering what was going on with you. I have been hit & miss on the board lately because my daughter and husband have both been having a lot of medical problems the past two months and still not sure what is going on with both of them. They said our daughter who just turned 38 might have had a stroke back on 6/20/09 or she may have MS.:( I just took her today for a spinal tap. My husband, who had one kidney removed 2 years ago for cancer, is not feeling well also and had retained over 20 lbs of fluid. Of course that got a bunch of tests ordered including heart catherization and appointments with numerous doctors. He just went to a kidney specialist yesterday so we won't hear anything about his lab tests until 2 weeks so we are in a holding pattern on both and neither one of them is feeling very well.

I am putting my problems on the back burner because my family comes first. I have had to do more of the yard work which really tears me up and then I am down for a couple of days to a week. Still having the pain in the groin area which the PA says has nothing to do with my back but I definitely question that answer. My neck has really started hurting again really bad and I want to make an appointment with my neurosurgeon but afraid to make any appointments for me because never know when I may have to take one of them to the doctor which I don't mind. I did go see my neurosurgeon a few weeks ago and they want to start seeing me every 3 months because they are afraid another disc is starting to act up. This has been such a terrible summer around here with a lot of rain, cool temperatures and then extreme HOT temperatures with high humidity so not good on the arthritis. Right now I just want to get my family feeling better and soon.

I know everything will go well with you on the SCS. As always you know I will have you in my prayers. I think of you often and sorry I haven't been back to answer all the other posts. Are the doctors optimistic about your results? I know how frustrated you must be but this just might be the ONE. Please keep us informed and I will try and check back in more frequently.

Take care and love
Moma Bear
