tmobile sidekick problem!

Hi,
So my friend bought a sidekick of eBay and its been working fine for the past couple weeks and last night something happened and now when it boots up the screen stays white and you can't see anything. You can still make calls but you can't see who your calling or who's calling you. Its all white. I did a battery pull and some other little tricks but to no avail. Anything you guys can think of? It hasn't had any water damage and is in fairly good condition. Please pin me with any suggestions 245D8BA3 . Thanks
 
Has it been dropped in any way? I had a similar incident with a dropped SideKick 3 (I tried to use it one day and it came on and had one of those sick looking faces on the screen. I eventually got it to boot up correctly). I ended up having to replace it because, a month later, that drop ended up jarring the phone so badly til anything I did with the keys, D-Pad or trackball opened the MP3 player whether or not it was connected to a PC. This caused the phone to lock up. I had to do numerous battery pulls to even get the IMEI and other information under the battery cause I couldn't get to the menu on the phone.

Then i suppose you could call t-mobile?
and they will redirect you to the SK department
I've had like 4 sidekicks. i'm using one now until i buy my BB. It's basically hell. I forgot how much I hate them, and how much they freeze.
They're WAY too faulty and have soo many problems.
Tell your friend to go with a BB hahaha
 
Mine actually still works great (thank GOD that signal problem was finally addressed) but the trackball is now shot. Any new 'Kicks coming out for 2010?
