tmobile router port light isnt blinking indicating no data activity but good

connection and cant get wireless? I reinstalled the cd to set up my wireless because it had stopped working and all the lights where doing what they were suppose to do indicating everything was working except for the light for the port where the blue ethernet cord goes in and i think its causing my wireless internet no to work on my laptop. The light is solid meaning that there is no activity dat a but a good connection when the light should be blinking green meaning data activity. What are my options please help.

Start with a power cycle. I like to isolate the issue so I can fix it faster the next time, but for your purposes, power cycle. Start by shutting everything down: modem, router, all computers. Start with modem, 1 min later turn on router, then 1 min later your computers. Hope this helps.
