tmo has 2 more weeks untill i am done.... 2 months to fix something and it isnt even fixed... ill go to att/cingular. and i guarentee ill get out of this contract with tmobile without paying for the early termination fee.

After yanking the battery several times I finally called in. Turns out I had some kind of wonky service book issue that I fixed with the CSR in 10 minutes on the phone. No idea for sure, but it probably happened when I installed the Christmas Pool game yesterday afternoon.

could just be them. I had to call in last week when my bis kept going in and out (out for periods as long as 12 hrs). they had to adjust my permissions or whatever to get it work. they changed it from default allowance of bis/bes to just bis. I never had this problem in the past. seems that flood did quite a number.

again, not just you. i've been having voice quality/connectivity problems as well. guess we just gotta bear with it. =0(

you could always check out craigslist if you don't want to wait. a lot of cheap prices on used pearls.

Letting you know that a Wind Storm will be hitting the Seattle Area. Saturday night. My fingers are crossed that nothing happens to T-Mobile. This time of the year is when Seattle is known for Rain. Summer is probably the best place to live.

As much as I like that T-mobile USA is local, I have family and friends who work at there corporate offices in Factory (Bellevue), I don't understand why they don't move it to a better weather place like Vegas. I guess they kept it in Bellevue because this is where most of the Cellular service started. (McCaw Cellular later AT&T) and of course the precurser to T-mobile, VoiceStream)

TMobile spends more time down than any other cellular provider. What's the deal with there service? Rim BB and push services and UMA are one thing, an unreliable mobile telephone provider is what they are NOT supposed to be. Many times our phones do not even ring when they have full EDGE service. If you try again though it does typically work. Maybe that's why they are a few bucks cheaper, they can't afford the technology or competent service techs to keep up with the competition. Verizon is far superior in my area. TMobile is OK but we just would like the service issues resolved. I had an EDGE card almost 18 months prior to EDGE service being available in my area. The TMobile Corp sales rep said I would have EDGE service within 30 - 45 days. Never happened. I just used the card for a 2 weeks vacation in Disney World - I did however just pay for service for 2 full years, not to mention I paid full price for the hardware. It was just one of those things: I will wait and see only to never use the service. It is frustrating and embarrassing when a client calls and says you never called back because we never got the VM notification or the phones need a battery pull.

It's Saturday night now.. =0/

glad I have the giants/pats game to keep me distracted rather than wondering if there's another service outage on the way.. on top of the current disruptions.. on top of the incomplete service restoration.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~well I don't know if you recall or not and I may just know this because I'm involved the wireless industry but every carrier has as much downtime as each other some on a global level or some on a market level. I remember cingular in january went on a global outage for I think 3 or 4 days and they lost a lot of customers. Each carrier are going through different network upgrades and in some areas the use of wireless devices exploded so much the towers can't handle the capacity of all the calls. So there are a lot of different circumstances involved with each carrier. I apologize that you are having issues with your service in your area.

Anyone test UMA server access? 8320 wifi diag says wifi connected but no vpn (UMA) service. Traceroute did time out to uncs server address. Is tmobile uma down? Ohio

All our BB (around 65) are up and down all day

We have problems all the time with TMobile. We have well over 90+ 8320, 8800 and 8100 running all the time mainly in Ohio. They all display gsm, edge and EDGE all the time. even if sitting right next to each other. Some can send data/text/emails and the one next to it can not. Battery pulls and reregistering on the network does not fix the problems all the time. Today was specifically bad. We had aboout 25-28 guys call in with the bb not getting any access to the internet. Even if the phones worked fine that would not be a problem. some phones we even disables voice mails because the phones never get notification until 4+ hours later or even the next day. UMA goes up and down all the time. When we are in the office UMA can work fine one second and the next time not work. We have redundant T1s, DSL and cable. Running cisco hardware. We even have several TMobile Linksys access points. they work ok at a small office or home, junk for enterprise applications. Handoffs are not transparent. We just want to know if it's the network? TMobile said there are having UMA issues nationwide today.
