TMOBILE messed up am i able to sue them? or what can i do ?

So i tried to open a line on tmobile today and they said i have two lines already open. I gave them my SSN and they said that there are 2 lines on that SSN. It was dated back about 8 years ago when i was only 11 years old. Isnt it tmobile policy to ID the person before they can open a line and they had a line for 8 years now.
