Tmobile Is The Worst Wireless Company

Besides better rates than any other phone co., TMo sux! I can't even begin to tell u the issues i've had w/ "so-called" water damaged phones, bills, customer service, etc... I'm only still w/ 'em cause I'm still in contract (which contracts are f-ing stupid to begin w/) - but I'm seriously debating on switching to AT&T after contract is up. My bf has Sprint and parents have Altel, both of which i'm not impressed w/ and Verizon's plan for data and bb's is outrageous. So far it's nothin but AT&T, but gotta check n2 it when the time comes.

I only had a few issues in the beginning with them receiving my payments, but that was shortly resolved...

The plans are great, I've never had problems with dropped calls... Their CS and BB depts have always been good and helpful to me...

Personally, AT&T is way overpriced for similar service... Verizon's lack of customer service (in store and out, wireless and non) is reason enough for me to stay away and avoid using any Verizon brand services... Sprint & Nextel - I hear about nothing but dropped calls and lack of service... Alltel? My friends may get my voicemails and texts 3 weeks later (and that has really happened)

I'm sticking with them for a long time...

Surprised to read the few posts about bad experiences -- but since they're human, customer care reps are variable, and some will disappoint and they do in any field. I've had TMo since they were VoiceStream, and my experience for several years has been excellent. Used them for personal as well as business lines - service has been excellent, prices excellent. Once in a while, if I call with a technical question that a level 1 customer care rep seems not to really understand, I indicate that I've already been "down that road" (politely) and ask for a technical support person (or, specifically, a PDA or BB support person) -- level 2 support has been uniformly excellent.

Every single time my contracts come up for renewal, I check with a number of friends and associates about their experiences with other carriers. I check prices, and I do another coverage check of the areas most important to me. T-Mobile has won hands-down for me every year.

Excellent experience, best price, and I've had good 24x7 customer service.

"i Have Had My Pearl Replaced With Over 8 Refurbs Since Dec Of Last Month!!! Some Are Damaged Or Non-working Right Out Of The Box."

1. Tmo does not make the phones please undersatd that. I can get you the CS line for RIM if you need..they are good people. Or try EBAY and get an unlocked phone of your choice...no contract.

"last Month I Was Promised A Blackberry Curve At A Discount Rate, Or New Customer Price Due To The Fact That I Have Had So Many Problems With The Pearl."

2. I would need proof of this...names numbers ect.

"well It Seems They Bull**ted Me Again, The Only Price They Are Willing To Give Me Is 399. Basically The Full Price, Even Though They Are Offering It To New Customers For 249$, Loyal Customer Dont Mean Squat To Tmobile. I Am Fed Up And Have Decided To Go With Verizon.i Will Gladly Pay The The Early Termination Fee As Long As I Can Purge This Hemmoroid Of A Company!"

3. EVERY CELL COMPANY OFFERS A CONTRACT THAT YOU ARE BOUND TO!!!!!!!!!! you want options...try flexpay...does anyone else offer so many options...I know that you will get tired of your phone at some point but you must understand that the phones come to you at a discount when you sign up or rewnew....THIS IS THE SAME WITH ALL THE CELL COMPANIES.......If you sign with any one else this will not change based on your fustration level. Sound to me like someone just wants a new phone for free...Good luck with any of the other companies...I dont think that they give out free phones because you are mad.

"do Yourself A Favor Dont Believe Crap Tmobile Tells You!! They Lie, They Give You The Run Around, They Waste My Time, And I Hate When They Tell Me "well I Certainly Understand Your Frustration" It Drives Me Nuts."

4. Good luck on this. 6 JD power awards for CS, I would beg to differ.

5. Yes I work for TMo and yes I have been a customer of all the big carriers. I have also been a customer for 6 years and I know that they are the best service available and take care of their customers like no other. I suspect that when you find that you want a new phone in the next year with the other companies we will see you right back here in the same bind.

you're gonna get haggled with whatever company you go with.
I personally love TMO only bcuz of the $20 a month data plan.
Yes its only EDGE, but its super cheap.

I also have been thru refurbs with my Pearl, on my 4th right now about to call to get yet another one.
Thats besides the point, If i can make it til the pearl 2.0 comes out or my two year mark comes up in feb, I'll be happy. I figure i pay the extra $7 a month for the insurance so i have the option to get replacement devices, why not take full use of that instead of just letting TMO have my extra money. I know it sounds crazy, but just you know, lots of companies record their calls. If you have a problem with what someone is saying or told you, tell them you want the call pulled. Easy as that. It may take a few days but every call is logged, there is a list I am sure of everytime you call TMO (same with all the other telcos I'm sure) Just use common sense when speaking to them. If you yell and scream, you're less likely to get what you want. If you start asking for supervisors and take notes during your calls and so forth, things might start going your way a bit more. I may be mistaken but I think paying the $7 a month insurance thing allows you to leave your contract early if you so choose. Ask TMO, like I said I am not positive about that. All in all I am happy with TMO and the way they treat me. Like I said before I take notes during the call, and speak in a professional manor. They like me and tend to see my side of the situation when things arise. If they don't, I ask for a Sup, and go from there.

-Good luck

3G is on its way with TMo...look for it in the 2nd half of next year. Also we have some KILLER phones on the way...I cant spoil the suprise but they are sweet.

I commented to someone the other day about no 3G in this country, FCC have it on lock down is what i understand. Are the cellphone bills gonna go up to cover more taxes and the cost of upgrading the entire network? It only makes sense to do so. 3G is how much faster than CDMA?

No, to answer you question in short. You will not see a increase on the billside of things. Towers are going up as we speak. I am not an expert on the speed side by sides but I know that 3G is double the speed of edge. The only negitive from what I understand with the AT&T cusomers is that is draws twice the power on your battery when you use it.

thanks, yeah you're just a few post away you can always pin me as well. but in regards to 3g, 3g is actually out in quite a few markets, and it works very fast from what i here but i do believe all carriers will have it out but q2 of next year, t-mobile had to delay there launch of 3g due to some issues with the spectrum they gained . so once that gets sorted out then we will be all set. but the 3g service with t-mobile i hear sounds really good. Actually our 3g service uses wcdma, which is a seperate service. its really fast speeds. it's an add on to gsm so t-mobile isn't moving to cdma. cdma is actually proven to support faster speeds and thats the reason why we are using wcdma. but it's going to be super sweet!!!!
