tmobile/htc g1 help?

hi so basicly yesterday i turned off my g1, then later on i turned it back on again and the anroid came up but it was their for ages so i restarted it again then after i turned it on my home screen didnt come up it was just a blank black screen, so i took out the battery, sim card ect and then put it back in, but it was just the same thing that kept on coming back up..the black screen...

i hope that makes sense 2 u
