Tmobile@home????

Without the unlimited wifi calling you can still make calls over wifi. The only difference is that you will be charged minutes the same as if you were connected to the cell tower. You are probably just connected to wifi.

important question ....

can the router be password protected???
if so, how?

and that is normal. the router actually takes over any other connection. i had my phone on my 2wire from at&t but when i put my @home router, the 2wire doesnt connect .... dunno why ... but its like whatever ...

when you make a call, you use your minutes like a normal call ....

If you mean a password for a device to use the wireless conection, then yes, you can add a wep or wpa security key. I recommened forgetting that and using a mac address filter instead. That way no passwords are needed and the router grants access to only the devices you want it to. It is more difficult to get around that kind of security. The exact menu navigation I wouldn't be able to say, because I don't yet have my router.
