Tmobile does not support aim?

Okay so i have a tmobile 8800..and i went to download aim from the blackerry browser and it said that your provider does not allow you to download aim..whats up with that?
 
yeh thats why its weird to me..i used to have a pearl and it worked..and now it doesnt? iono its pretty weird cuz it lets me dl yahoo messenger and msn but no aim?
 
Did you try to DL from the RIM web site? If all else fails for AIM you should be able to use OZ instant messenger, it supports AIM but uses text messages.
 
a while ago i wanted AIM and was having problems downloading it onto my Cingular pearl.You can download a 30 day trial of beejive ( and buy it afterwards for 20$) but its pretty nice. has all the chat clients into one and allows u to be logged onto all and recieve msged from all at once.
 
The link works for me to download, and im able to download it on my T-Mobile 8800. I just wish AIM wasnt so crappy on Blackberrys.
