see i dont look at it as $10 bucks a month. i see it as $120 more a year on something i wont use. i see it as i am already paying $864 a year on a damned phone. so yes, in the end paying close to $1000 a year to talk is a bit annoying for me. i do not want the data plan.

i wish we all didnt need cell phones. i mean its getting ridiculous.

What happens if I already have a Unlimited Text Messaging on all 4 phones on my family plan, and I go and do an upgrade for a smartphone? Will I have add the Data Plan?

Its still cheaper than the other carriers, my total bill is 94 bucks a month on the flex plan. the guy I work with pays 160 a month on at&t. don't know much bout verizon they got a crazy price plans to you can try the track phone unlimited everything 45 a month at walmart but I love my bb so I'm not willing to give that up just yet

AT&T also has the mandatory data plan with the iPhone. $30.00 per mo.

When T-Mobile in stated the even more plan you don't pay premium web service prices any more.it use to be you had to pay for internet for what ever you smartphone you have like the bb,or the sidekick an so on, now you can use any phone an its no different same 94 bucks a month the only thing that gets me is the 15 dollers a month in tax fees good service though. Hope this helps.
