Hi, all:
I am new to BB. Just got BB pearl from Tmobile setup. Now I can receive instant email from my email box on the BB. However, there is an additional message notifying a new email. That additional message show title & first several lines of this email. It appeared in the folder "Messages". The full email also appeared in the folder of the corresponding email box.

I'm worried if this additional message will be counted against my text message quota ? If not , great. Otherwise, I need your help on how to turn off this email alert by text message.

The "Messages" folder is actually a combination of your e-mail and your SMS messages. That is unless you have it set to split the two up (avaiable in a few themes and through the Italian OS on all themes). It's actually just one message.
