Tmobile $9.99 email plan???

Sorry about my vagueness. Does it cover AIM/Yahoo/Google talk? I'm speaking specifically for a T-Mobile branded 8320 on T-Mobile USA with the $9.99 email plan. Just want to make sure I get the correct experience if someone is using it the same way. At the moment I get the error message "service is not supported on device" when I try to log in to any of the messanger services. Thanks in advance everyone

Some of the IM programs actually use text messaging instead of the data connection, but most use the data connection. I found this out when I got hit with a ton of text message charges on my phone, and found out that the IM was transmitting over text. I changed to another IM client (same IM network) and never had the problem again. I think it was an AIM client that was doing this.
