Tmo Shipping Early 8900 Orders

T-Mo rep told I had to wait until the 11th, well I will call back later and keep my fellow stackers updated.

I'm sorry but why must these fools compare every phone to the Iphone. It's just ridiculous to me. Almost every video they have of a new device compares them to the Iphone. Sigh...
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I called yesterday, I was so close to getting it until this rep told me it will cost me $429 to upgrade (2 years). I mean, that is just ridiculous. I'm on my 16th month, the rep told me to get the full discount, I will have to wait until the 22nd month. I guess I will be waiting for now.
 
No way, call back and talk to the retention department and see if they will lower it. I have upgraded before when I only had my 8120 for 3 mos and then again to the Curve another 3 mos later. You got to get the right rep and use alot of sweet talkin. But I have been a TMO customer since 2003
 
I am going to try again tomorrow and see what they will do for me. My last upgrade was Feb 20th, 07, so I am less than you are Flash. I'll cross my fingers for both of us. Maybe they are being firm on upgrades because this is brand new and they want to get new customers first or they just want to gauge their long standing customers. We'll see, they always let me have the new customer price with a 2 year commitment way earlier than my full upgrade date.
 
Yea, let's just sweet talk our way into getting our new device like you said lol. Good luck, I will try calling them later today. Will report on how it goes.
