Tmo Internet access dragging :-P?

Hey folks,

The last few days I've been experiencing intermittant Internet access -- really slow if working at all -- from my tmo Pearl (web browser and all apps). I also am unable to connect it to my laptop as a modem because it times out during the name/password validation step.

Is anyone else having similar problems? I can't figure out if it's my Pearl or their network. Any thoughts?

Have you tried the good ole battery pull. Also clear out your cashe and history. That man help!~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
 
Battery pulled several times :-). In fact, I just reinstalled the handheld software out of desperation. I'm getting to the point where I think that either it's a nework problem (in my area?) or my handset's kaput.
 
it's probably your modem settings. It can be pretty finicky. In the past I inputted a modem string and a week later it wouldn't connect so I left the modem string blank. That worked for a while, but then started giving me error msg so I returned to having a modem string and have had it ever since.
 
It happens to me sometimes. I do a battery pull AND a cold reboot of my laptop...and more often than not this fixes it. Of course it might just be a network problem...and by the time I've gone through these steps the network is back up
