I'm excited for this, I really want to share what I thought was a really fun experience with some of my peeps who never saw it. Hopefully the special features are decent.

I loved the movie so I'll definately be picking this up. Hopefully it delves into the production process. I'd be really interested to see the development on the film, because this definately one of the most well designed CG films I've seen!

I'm totally snaggin' this release. The movie was a lot of fun, the action was neat, the music was really well picked, and the turtles were... very well rendered. c.c

Kevin Munroe (the director) said over at a TMNT forum that there were definitely some scenes cut from the movie. I hope they're on the DVD as extras.

They'd be perfect for it. o.o I really hope they don't rule the DVD out as some budget-release made for kids. I'd like to see a quality product. Especially with them considering a sequel.

That first art is cute and playful which suits the turtles in most cases for mainstream audiences but not that movie. That movie was light on humor compared to many TMNT ventures. So the "cooler" look of the other box art is a much easier sell IMO and something I'd be prouder to have on my shelf.

My mom and dad didn't really like it much. I guess maybe it was because it didn't feel like the Ninja Turtles to them. Then again, they're not true fans, now are they? Looks like I'M the one who will buy it with my money.

I won't be purchasing the DVD the day it's released, but I'll probably get it some other time when the price has dropped a bit. I also hope that this DVD gets some cool special features, like commentary.

I didn't love the movie but one thing is for certain. That was legitament Ninja Turtles right in line with the Mirage comics, the first movie and the 2003 cartoon. Which is more than can be said for Turtles II and III.

Well, the Ooze canister and the Scepter of Time was seen in the collection of the artifacts they have decided to hold onto, along with Raph's NightWatcher Helmet, and Mikey's Cowabunga Carl headgear.

I'll be getting the HD-DVD release, although I'm starting to hate these Combo HD-DVD/DVD releases, after buying the Superman Returns combo disc. They cost an extra $10, the cover art is condensed, and there is no disc art.

Merely homaging those items doesn't make up for the fact that Turtles II and III were cheesy even for TMNT. Basically live action cartoons which didn't let them use their weapons much at all. They're fun flicks but they're not legit TMNT in my eyes.

I am so happy I got a PS3 now. I don't have to waste my money on garbage combo discs unless it si from Unifreakingversal with their annoying Hot Fuzz combo.

Looking forward to picking up this and Season 5 of the original series on the same day, I tell you August 7th is shipping up to be an expensive day for me.
