All I remember is that the book was about this wolf pack, told from their perspective and they had unique names that identified them based on their coloration or injury or something. I remember two names, one was Blackie who was a black wolf and I think the center of the story and the other was Two Toes (something like that) who was missing all but two toes one one foot because he knawed the others off to get free of a bear trap or something. I also remember two scenes from the book: one scene has them running from airbourne poachers in the winter and the pack is nearly exterminated and another has the main character captured and raised as a pet by a poacher in a log cabin. I cannot remember the title of this story and I remember enjoying it a great deal when I was a young teen. So if anyone can help me with the title, it's much appreciated.
