anybody know if it is possible to go from a tire size of 200/50 down to a 190/55... my uncle just bought a ZX12R and the stock tire size is 200/50 but the turn in is insanely sluggish and I was wondering if the tire will fit should he drop to a 190/55 to give a higher profile.

thats kinda what I was thinking, I let him ride my 1098 (reluctantly) and he couldn't believe the turn in difference... I know I'm talking about a bike that weighs nearly 200 pounds less, but the turn in shouldn't be as slow as it is on his bike.

The rear rim is 6" which is well suited for a 190 so shouldn't have a problem.

But I'm thinking that that no matter WHAT changes he makes, his bike will never turn in like yours while his arse still points toward the ground.
But if you own a spare parts business and want to make some money.. go for it.. don't forget the Ohlins as well.. and manufacture an offset steer head.. and and and..
