Tips on meeting people @ camp?

I'm going to camp pretty soon and it looks like none of my friends are going. I want to have a good time and meet some new people but I'm kind of shy. I seriously doubt anyone will come up and talk to me so how do I approach other people?
 
Well if you have things you have to do i have no idea what camp it is. but if you are in line for something talk to a person that looks bored like you. then if you have a campfire, ask if you could sit with her..
