I'm a bit of a rookie player, I've been playing for around a year now, and me and some friends have started a band. were planning to play sunshine of your love at a gig we have in about 3 months and my band mates want me to play a solo because I'm apparently the best out of all of us at sort of classic rock solos. The thing thats frustrating me is no matter what i do my solos always end up sounding the same to me. i want to make them sound more interesting. i mostly use my pentatonic and blues scales when i try to play a solo if that clears up any confusion.
tips on guitar solos?
